DOTHAN: 10:46 AM. Dothan 911 dispatched a pedestrian struck by vehicle. Reports to 911 are multiple pedestrians struck and vehicles struck. The location was 310 West Saunders Road, Jeffer’s Vet Supply.
Multiple Dothan Fire Engine Companies, Engine 4 ( Southside ) and Engine 2 ( Lakewood ), three Pilcher Ambulances and multiple Dothan Police Officers responded, and Dothan Fire Battalion Chief.
On arrival Dothan Fire Captain Justin Fisher reported two injuries of pedestrians. The other pedestrians were by standers who received minor injuries and did not require transport. Captain Fisher instructed Dothan 911 to cancel one of the three Pilcher Ambulances responding and canceled Dothan Fire Engine 4 response.
About 4 or 5 vehicles received damage. There was no fault of Jeffer’s Vet supply. It was an employee parking lot and at this time it is unknown why the vehicle went wild.
Patients transported non-emergency.
