DOTHAN: Something a little spooky, a lot creative and downright fun is happening at the Dothan Area Botanical Gardens!The scarecrows are out and about at the Dothan Area Botanical Gardens, 5130 Headland Avenue in Dothan, and they’re ready to greet visitors through October 31st, from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.
Admission is just $5 for adults, while members and children 15 and younger get in free. Visitors should enter through the Ralph and Carolyn Smith Botanical Center.
And mark your calendar for the Scarecrow Open House on Sunday, October 11th, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m., weather permitting!
During the open house, admission will be FREE, and there will be plenty of fun for the whole family — including family activities, an ice cream truck and the chance to vote for your favorite scarecrow!
So grab the kids, bring your camera and come see what these clever characters have been up to in the gardens.
Who will be the most creative? The funniest? The spookiest?
