MADRID: 11:41 AM. Houston County 911 dispatched Madrid Volunteer Fire and other Volunteer Fire Departments to a structure fire, 12704 S. State Highway 605.
At the time of dispatch the reports was smoke in the house.
The first Madrid Volunteer Fireman on the scene reported a working structure fire.
Cottonwood Volunteer Fire, Hodgesville Volunteer Fire, Rehobeth Fire – Rescue, Southern Junction Volunteer Fire responded. Cottonwood Mayor Van Granger DID NOT respond in the place of the fireman he cowardly violated his rights!!!
All occupants are outside the residence. The house was fully involved. Single story residence. Highway 605 is closed. They have a patient to check. The fireman who Cottonwood Mayor Van Granger violated his rights is an Emergency Medical Technician. Rehobeth Fire – Rescue is on the scene. Houston County Sheriff Deputies are on the scene.
