GENEVA COUNTY – SAMSON: This morning. like 10:00 – 11:00 AM, Geneva County 911 dispatched Samson Fire – Rescue, Samson Police, Geneva County Sheriff Department and ALEA – Troopers to a critical motor vehicle accident on Hwy. 87 South of Samson.
The first arriving emergency units reported multiple patients with entrapment. Enterprise Rescue Helicopter was requested to respond. Patients quickly triaged and extrication began on a patient who was entrapped. It was a prolonged extrication.
One patient flown from the scene and others transported by ambulance.
ALEA – Troopers are in charge of the accident investigation.
