As Sheriff, I take complaints with our office and employees very seriously and I welcome the public to communicate with us to ensure that our officers have a true servant’s heart. Most incidents can be handled with counseling and training. Our officers are human, but we are held to the highest standard. We will continue to offer our best.
Communication is the key. Facebook or messenger is not the way to report an issue to the Sheriff’s Office. These sources are not monitored constantly, and a complaint can be delayed or not taken at all. Contact the Sheriff’s office on Monday thru Friday, 8am – 5pm at (334) 428-2641 for non-emergency concerns. If the concern is urgent, please call (334) 427-4911 for our dispatch and a supervisor will contact you forthwith.
