DALE COUNTY: It is with great sadness that we announce Retired Dale County Sheriff Wally Olson passed away this morning.
Reports are his daughter found him unresponsive at home and not breathing.
Emergency medicals units responded and CPR performed and transported to Dale Medical Center. Efforts to save Sheriff Olson were unsuccessful.
Sheriff Olson retired before last selection. A great man, great husband and father. He served the citizens of Dale County with honor, dedication and dignity.
