DOTHAN, Ala. — Families are invited to enjoy a day of history, farm traditions, and fall fun during Fall Farm Day at Landmark Park on Saturday, October 17, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This annual event celebrates the agricultural heritage of the Wiregrass and offers something for visitors of all ages.

Guests can watch traditional peanut harvesting demonstrations showing how peanuts were harvested in the Wiregrass more than 100 years ago. Other demonstrations will include cane grinding, syrup making, and chainsaw artistry.

Quilt lovers will have plenty to see inside the barn, where more than 100 antique and judged quilts will be on display in one of the largest quilt exhibits in the Wiregrass region.

Families can also enjoy pumpkin painting, farm animals, games, live music, a tractor parade, antique tractors, and local food vendors.

In a special effort to give back to the community following the recent storm, Landmark Park is reducing admission for this year’s event. Admission will be $6 per person. Children ages 2 and younger and active Landmark Park members will be admitted free.

Fall Farm Day is a chance to enjoy the outdoors, learn about the area’s farming traditions, and spend time with family while supporting one of Dothan’s special community treasures.

If you have never visited Landmark Park, Fall Farm Day is a wonderful opportunity to discover this local gem and experience a little piece of Wiregrass history. Landmark Park is off 431 North in Dothan.
