The Baldwin County Coroner’s Office has identified the two men who were killed in a plane crash Saturday, March 7, in Bon Secour Bay.
Authorities say Dana Ruehle, 64, and Jon George, 68, both of Gulf Shores, died in the crash.
According to officials, the aircraft involved was a Beech A36.
Search crews recovered debris from the bay following the crash. The Baldwin County Coroner’s Office said it is working alongside the Gulf Shores Police Department, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) as the investigation continues.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
