HOUSTON COUNTY EMA: Afternoon update on Hurricane Isaias. Please do not focus on the track the center of the storm takes. Our main threat will be all the outer rain bands. We are expecting periods of very heavy rainfall and wind gust in the 30-40 mph range. Also tomorrow there is a heightened risk for tornados.
Take a few minutes to watch this update from the National Weather Service and make sure you have a way to receive alerts. The height of the wind threats will be overnight tonight into the morning with tornado threat lingering throughout the day.
