HOUSTON COUNTY: The elections for most all county, state and some federal offices will be in May and November 2026. The incumbent Houston County Coroner has said he does not intend to seek re-election in 2026.
Kendall Glover has confirmed his intentions to seek election as Houston County Coroner in 2026. Glover will run on the Republican ticket with the primaries being in May 2026 and general election in Noevmber 2026.
Kendall Glover owns and operates Glover Funeral Home on Hartford Highway in Dothan. As a long time funeral director and embalmer, Glover is fimiliar with the bodies and death. His training could help detect that something is just not right and needs further examination and investigation.
A Coroner is called when there is an unattended death or a death as a result of another. The Coroner works hand in hand with all law enforcement in Alabama and across the state lines with the two hospitals in Houston County. Kendall Glover has a great relationship with law enforcement and pledges full cooperation and a great partnership to serve the citizens in need.
Kendall Glover is expected to make a formal announcement in the future.
