AVON – HOUSTON COUNTY: At 1:47 PM Houston County 911 dispatched an edged weapon assault at 7147 U.S. Highway 84 East.
This location is the trailer park in Avon on Highway 84.
Reports to 911 a male subject was stabbed in the neck, chest and legs. He was conscious, alert and breathing and the bleeding was controlled.
Multiple Houston County Sheriff Deputies and Ashford Rescue responded.
The victim was at one trailer the suspect, reported to be the victim’s girlfriend was at another location.
The victim was located and treated by Ashford Rescue. The Deputies attempted to locate the suspect but she had apparently fled the scene. The deputies notified DHR. Ashford Rescue transported the patient to Southeast Health non emergency.
Houston County Criminal Investigators were called to the scene.
The injuries to the victim did not appear to be life threatening.
Houston County Sheriff Deputies arrived on the scene at 1:50 PM, only 3 minutes from the call hitting 911 until deputies on the scene.
