Ashford Fire is responding to a report of a outdoor fire in the vicinity of Meadows Road in Ashford.
Woods are on fire, and two properties are involved.
Ashford Fire requested contact from Alabama Forestry due to the fire being in heavily wooded areas and the wind picking up.
UPDATE:
Ashford Fire asked to disregard Alabama Forestry. Ashford Fire is working to contain what they’re calling still an active fire on one side. Cowarts Fire was initially called for mutual aid, but the call was canceled.
