HOUSTON COUNTY: On Friday Alabama State Representative Paul Lee made a special visit to Houston County School Supt. Brandy White and coaches.
The coaches and Supt. White were in a meeting at the Career Center. Representaitve Paul Lee walked in and presented the Houston County School Athletic Association with a check for $ 25,000.00. This will be divided equally to each school in the Houston County system.
Rep. Lee said he knows how much the athletic program means to the youth and keeping them occupied and out of trouble. Lee told teh coaches this funding does not replace any exising funding but is in addition to existing funding.
