Henry County 911 dispatched Headland Fire-Rescue, Houston County 911 dispatched Kinsey Volunteer Fire Department to Headland Elementary School to a fire alarm. Headland Fireman/Dothan Fireman/Columbia Volunteer Fireman Ethan Wilkerson is the on scene commander. There is no smoke or flames visible.
The children were removed from the school to outside of the school because of the fire alarm sounding. Kinsey Volunteer Fire is an automatic aid to Headland Fire-Rescue, as Headland Fire-Rescue an automatic aid to Kinsey Volunteer Fire on reports of a structure fire.
Headland Police and Headland Director of Department of Public Safety, Mark Jones were on the scene. Fireman checked and no fire detected.
