ENTERPRISE, Ala. An 18-year-old Enterprise man was arrested Friday and charged with making a terrorist threat after police say he threatened on social media to shoot people attending the city’s Spooky in the Park event.

The Enterprise Police Department received information about the threats on Oct. 30 at 4:54 p.m., according to a department statement. Detectives immediately identified and located the suspect, Brandon Ray Winn, 18, of Enterprise.

Winn was taken into custody without incident and charged with making a terrorist threat, police said. He was transported to the Coffee County Jail following his arrest.

The department said in its statement that it takes all threats of violence seriously and remains committed to ensuring the safety of the community and public events.

Police did not release additional details, including the content of the alleged posts, which platform was used, a motive, or Winn’s bond status. A charge is not a finding of guilt, and Winn is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
