Patrick David Greenlee, age 83, passed away February 27th, 2025, surrounded by his family.
Patrick was born in Albion, Michigan on January 2, 1942, to Paul Francis Greenlee and Betty Luci Wells. He came into the world with his twin sister Patricia Williams.
By age 20 Patrick had enlisted in the Navy and married Judith K Holt. Shortly after they began their family and welcomed 3 daughters. Patrick served 4 years in the Navy. The family eventually moved briefly to Florida, and finally settled in Dothan, where they have remained for 43 years.
Known to his friends and family as “Pat”, he enjoyed wood working as a profession and avid hobby. He could often be found in his garage working on the next big project. His family will remember him as a stern but loving patriarch with a sense of humor about life.
Patrick is preceded in death by his parents Paul F. Greenlee, Louise Greenlee, Betty Luci Greenlee, Sister Patricia Williams, Brother Paul Edward Greenlee, Daughter Shawn Carmen Gue, and Granddaughter Kristy Marie Van Scyoc.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Judith, Two daughters Michele Harris and Denise Campbell (Sam) , Brothers James Lenardson and Jason Gue. Grandchildren Jennifer and Travis Rhodes, Mary and Carmelo Ballaro, Nikki and Andrew Cook, Miranda and John Bowen, Adam Coffman, Richie Harris, Tabatha Campbell, James Hagans 3rd, Stephanie and Dominique Burke, and Brooklyn Gue. Several great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. He is deeply missed and loved by all.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
