HENRY COUNTY: 10:37 AM Henry County 911 dispatched a single motor vehicle accident, Highway 431, just south of Ravenwood.
The accident was on the south bound lanes of traffic. It appears the single vehicle left the road and overturned. The driver, who is reported to have been wearing his seat belts, died in the accident. The passenger received minor injuries.
Henry County Sheriff Deputies responded, to include Sheriff Captain Elkins, Henry County Emergency Management Director Matt Hatcher,Headland Fire-Rescue, and ALEA – Troopers Sgt. Jason McAllister and Trooper Larry Sapp. Henry County Coroner Derek Wright responded to the scene.
Henry County Coroner Derek Wright has identified the decased at 55 year old Charles Brown of Abbeville.
ALEA – Troopers are in charge of the accident investigation.
