DOTHAN:
A motorcycle crash in Washington County, Florida, left two Dothan residents seriously injured Wednesday afternoon.
The collision happened at the intersection of Clayton Road and State Road 277, just north of Vernon.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 21-year-old woman from Chipley was attempting to turn left onto State Road 277 when her SUV collided head-on with an oncoming motorcycle.
The motorcycle was being driven by a 36-year-old Dothan woman with a 16-year-old Dothan girl riding as a passenger. The impact caused the motorcycle to overturn, throwing both riders from the bike before it came to rest on the grassy shoulder.
Both the driver and the teen passenger suffered serious injuries.
The SUV driver was not injured.
