Brenda Lee Crawford of Hartford went home to be with her Lord & Savior Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the Hartford First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Glenn Tate officiating. Burial will follow in the Hartford City Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.

The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 1:00 p.m. and continuing until service time.

Brenda was born on February 25, 1965, in Madisonville, KY, to the late John W. Chancey and Evelyn Joann Swauger Chancey. She was a devoted member of Hartford First Assembly of God Church. Brenda began her career working in several factories in Hartford before finding her true calling as a bingo caller at Hwy 77 Bingo, where she faithfully worked for more than 25 years. She cherished her work and formed lasting bonds with her co-workers and the many customers she came to know and love over the years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, James “JJ” Bruce and John Bruce.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Terry Crawford, son, Lee Crawford (Hillary), daughter, Courtney Crawford (Joshua Newton), sisters, Debra Williams, Chantell Thomley (Ross), brother, Charles Stevens (Connie), grandchildren, Shelby Albert (Robbie))Dawson Clark (Samantha), Cody Clark (Jade Goodwin), Kylie Crawford , Skarlett Crawford and Braxton Newton, great grandchildren, Katlyn Goodwin, Hadley Clark and one on the way, Alaina Albert, special friend, Thelma Devita, several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
