TAYLOR: Tonight in a regular scheduled meeting of Taylor City Council, Taylor Mayor Robert ” Handlebar ” Lamb went crazy as a run over dog.
Mayor Robert “Handlebar” Lamb went crazy over a motion made by Councilman Kenny Thompson to add to the agenda joining the Houston County Mayor’s group. Handlebar Lamb could never get through his mind that motion to add to the agenda had to be voted on before the item coud be discussed. Councilman MIlner attempted to explain it several times, but Mayor Handlebar Lamb could never comprehend it.
Finally the council sorta bypassed Lamb and the item passed to add to the agenda. Handlebar Lamb kept saying he was going to veto the matter. Some debated that the Myaor did not have veto power and Handlebar Lamb stated he did, that he had read it and knew what he was talking about and no one else did. Then the Attorney for Taylor, Trant Bullard, was asked and he informed Mayor Handlebar Lamb that he did not have veto power, but had a vote and could vote yes, no or not cast a vote. Mayor Handlebar Lamb then sit back in his chair.
The council then voted to join the Houston County Mayor Association which will cost $ 150.00 a year.
When Lamb was yelling veto Councilman Milner, who like everyone else in the meeting, has had enough of Robert Lamb, saying Handlebar …. Lamb then went what did you say and got out of his seat and went to Councilman Milner, behind his chair, looked as if he pushed on his chair. Councilman Milner then stood up, with Lamb all in Milner’s space, and Milner pushed Lamb back out of his space. Lamb was then attempting to invite Milner outside when Taylor Police walked up.
Councilman Milner was not in the wrong, but Lamb was when he walked to Councilman Milner and in his space.
Lamb told RSN to cut the camera and RSN refused. Later Lamb told a citizen he was coming for you “fat boy” and told Rickey Stokes that he was then coming for him. Lamb also told Councilman MIlner he was coming to his house for him.
Lamb has attempted to file a report for harassment on Milner. But the harassment and making a terriost threat of “coming for” against a citizen, Lamb called “fat boy” and terrorist threat against Stokes, were all made by Taylor Mayor Robert Lamb.
Lamb is a complete idiot who has embarrased Taylor citizens. He has embarrased his family with his stupidity in not knowing what he can do. Like he was sure he had veto power and had read it. The problem is Robert Lamb can not read and comprehend the English language.
It is frustrating for those on the council to conduct business for the citizens of Taylor Alabama. Lamb needs to resign or his family needs to intervene and make him resign. He is doing a complete disservice to the citizens of Taylor.
Lamb is dangerous and is one which, in my opinion, would committ acts of violence towards innocent people at the meeting or come to their house.
