HOUSTON COUNTY: No one has nay idea of that the “Houston County Public Building Authority” is.
This notice came from Houston County Commission Chairman Brandon Shoupe’s Office. THis unkknown board is going to obligate the taxpayers to remodel or build new offices for the Houston County Department of Human Resources. A coupld of years ago this Brandon Shoupe Commission bought the old Devean House on Prevatt Road. Now after the Brandon Shoupe Commission has gotten Houston County almost $ 14 million upside down, they are wanting this group to do the debt and Houston County pay it. And this is attempting to be done in secret, and no one knows even who is on the board.
Someone who was in charge for 30 years in Houston County does not even know who the Houston County Public Building Authroity is.
Another reason Distrct 2 voters need to pay attention and write in Chris Love name and color in the bubble or get ready to pay more.
