Emergency crews are responding to a reported structure fire at a residence in the 500 block of Hedstrom Drive.
Dothan Fire Department units were dispatched to 512 Hedstrom Drive after reports of a possible fire in the attic of the home. According to initial information, the fire appears to have started in the attic area.
Fire hydrants are on standby and ready to be deployed as they continue to assess conditions inside the residence.
At this time, only smoke is visible coming from the residence. Firefighters are on scene working to assess the situation and prevent the fire from spreading.
No injuries have been reported, and the extent of any damage is not yet known.

An update has been provided regarding the reported structure fire at a residence in the 500 block of Hedstrom Drive.
According to officials on scene, all responding fire units have been returned to service except one, which remains at the residence as a precaution.
At this time, no smoke or flames are visible. Firefighters are making their way into the attic area to investigate the cause of the initial report and ensure there are no hidden hot spots.
No injuries have been reported.
