COTTONWOOD: Cottonwood Mayor Van Granger did not terminate Cottonwood Volunteer Fire Chief. It was first reported that he did. But Mayor Granger sent certified letters removing Chief Hall’s son from the volunteer fire department, and from being at the fire station and/or city hall along with CHief Hall’s wife.
This is a volunteer position. Currently Randy Hall is still the Fire Chief. Some within the department are attempting to take over and not consult with Chief Hall. It is times like this when you find the true character of the fellow fireman in the department.
The blog wrote to sit back and they were disecting my article. RSN does not respond to cowards who will not put their true names with their posts. These malcontents are hiding behind a name and to much of a coward to place their name with what they have to say.
Like Rickey Stokes or not, first I am man enough to place my name with what I have to say. Before the article was written I spoke to Mayor Van Granger. And for the record, since this drama began I was speaking with Mayor Granger and Chief Hall. That is why I asked Robert Golden to remove the video was I was trying to get the garbage calmed down. The citizens deserve it.
But these malcontents, some got beat in the election, are bound and determine to keep trash going. Really Chief Hall, his wife and son would be better off to foget volunteer service and enjoy life. However, when you have a passion of service about self and serving your community, it is in your blood.
Most of the malcontents never donate their time and energies to serving others in their time of need. And the sacrifices of leaving your family, leaving dinners, making sure equipment is ready to roll, is a lot on a person. Expecially when working other jobs for a living.
This situation is plain and simple, you have some kndergartenders trapped in adult bodies. Some over stepping their authority. And some greedy backstabbers wanting to get some authority to be a big shot. And being a volunteer fire chief is not a big shot,
Mayor Granger, you have had the power and responsiblility to get this issue under control. Your being hush, as per your attorney, is not the right path forward. You Mayor Granger, need to be a man, take responsibility, and get this resolved. You owe it to the people you serve and the friendship between you and Randy Hall. That needs to be done ASAP.
To the blog, stop being a coward and identify yourself. I have set you up to identify you and being investigated now. So the clock is ticking. But RSN does not respond to cowards like yourselves.
