Alabama Farmers Federation Endorses Rep. Paul Lee

HOUSTON COUNTY, Ala., Sept. 16 — The Alabama Farmers Federation announced its endorsement today of Rep. Paul Lee for Alabama House District 86, which is in Houston County.

“Rep. Lee is an outstanding public servant and has always been accessible to his constituents,” said George Jeffcoat, president of the Houston County Farmers Federation. “He is a commonsense conservative who understands our issues, and we are proud to continue to support his service in Montgomery.”

Lee attended Wallace State Community College. He worked with Sony’s Magnetic Tape Division for 30 years and is presently the executive director of Wiregrass Rehabilitation Center Inc. He also served as a Dothan City councilman for five years.

Lee is chairman of the House Health Committee and serves on the General Fund Committee and Legislative Council.

Lee is involved in multiple civic and charitable organizations such as United Way, Dothan Rotary Club, Alabama Municipal Electric Authority and the Metropolitan Planning Organization.

“It is an honor to receive the endorsement of such a hard-working group of people,” said Lee. “I look forward to continuing to work with them to make District 86 an even better place to live, work and raise a family.”

Rep. Lee and his wife, Ellen, have been married for 44 years. They have one married daughter and one granddaughter. They are members of Logos Baptist Church.

The Alabama Farmers Federation is the state’s largest farm organization with more than 350,000 member families. It uses a true grassroots approach to select candidates, relying on Alabama FarmPAC endorsements from county Farmers Federation boards of directors for local elections.
