Calling all residents and anyone who travels across this immediate hazard of a railroad crossing at West Church Street/52 East.
Please call and express your displeasure and the immediate danger it poses for your travel.
The current railroad contractor that the railroad uses will not repair this crossing unless the entire road is closed for 2-3 days
The ALDOT cannot allow a full closure due to emergency services needing to come through
In years past, one side was closed until it was repaired, then the other side would be repaired.
We need your help!
