An Enterprise man is in custody after authorities say he shot and killed his wife Monday morning.
Enterprise Police identified the victim as 85-year-old Charlotte Wolf.
Officers were dispatched shortly before noon to a residence in the 100 block of County Road 724 following a report of a shooting. When police arrived, they found Charlotte Wolf inside the home suffering from a gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators arrested 90-year-old Otto Wolf at the residence and charged him with one count of murder. Authorities confirmed that the victim and suspect were married.
Otto Wolf was transported to the Coffee County Jail, where he is being held without bond.
The incident remains under investigation. More information will be released as it becomes available.
