ASHFORD: 4:43 PM Houston County 911 dispatched Ashford Police, Ashford Rescue, Ashford Volunteer Fire and Houston County Sheriff Deputies to a critical motor vehicle accident. The location was Highway 84 and South County Road 55.
When emergency units arrived it was reported a three vehicle accident. Only one person was complaining of injuries. The person was transported by Ashford Rescue, emergency, to Southeast Health.
Ashford Police Chief Melvin Anderson and Ashford Mayor Blake Rosenkotter were on the scene.
Ashford Police Officer Larry Flowers is in charge of the accident investigation.
