HENRY COUNTY: 5:42 PM. Henry County 911 has dispatched Henry County Sheriff Deputies, Abbeville Fire – Rescue, and Survivial Flight to 332 Chief Road to a gunshot wound. Reports are a female has suffered a gunshot wound.
Multiple law enforcement units from across Henry County has rolled to the scene. No more details are known at this time.

Henry County Sheriff Eric Blankenship and members of Henry County Sheriff Department, Fire and EMS, had quick response. Henry County 911 did a great job in reporting what was reported to the 911 center.
After emergency units arrived, it was determined the information came from a mentally challenged individual who reported a female was shot and others were shot. And someone was shooting in the area.
After arrival and immediate investigation it was determined a false alarm.
