DOTHAN: Dothan 911 dispatched Dothan Police, Dothan Fire and Pilcher Ambulance about 1:30 AM to a firearm assault at Johnson Homes.
The victim was reported to have been shot in the stomach or abdomen. The victim was transported by Dothan Fire and Pilcher Ambulance under trauma alert to Southeast Health.
Dothan Police Patrol were quick to canvas the area for information. Dothan Criminal Investigators and Dothan Police Crime Scene Techs were called to the scene to begin processing the scene and identifying suspect(s). Several persons were transported to Dothan Police Criminal Investigation Division as the investigation unfolded.
SATURDAY EVENING
6:30 PM Dothan 911 dispatched Dothan Police, Dothan Fire and Pilcher Ambulance to 602 South Lena Street, old Henry Green Apartments, to a firearm assault.
Reports to Dothan 911 the gunshot victim was shot in the foot.
Dothan Police have deployed K-9 dogs attempting to track suspect(s). Pilcher Ambulance was released to at this time do not beleive the victim was transported.
Dothan Police Criminal Investigation and Crime Scene Investigation unit has been dispatched.
