Dawson Spivey Victorious in Mobile Pro Truck Race During Heart of Dixie 200 Weekend

Dawson Spivey closed out his year at Mobile International Speedway in victory lane, winning the Pro Truck race during Heart of Dixie 200 weekend. The victory added to a year of strong, consistent results for Spivey and the Jett Motorsports team.

The year got off to a rough start during Alabama 200 weekend at Montgomery Motor Speedway, when Spivey’s Jett Concrete Pro Late Model suffered an engine failure. He later earned a top-10 finish in the Baby Rattler 125 at South Alabama Speedway and continued building on that result throughout the season.

Midway through the year, team owner Patt Jett made the decision to acquire three additional race cars an Outlaw car, a Pro Truck and another Pro Late Model to give Spivey as many opportunities to race as possible. The move reflected Jett’s belief in Spivey and the team’s commitment to helping him gain experience and get more races under his belt.

Throughout the season, Spivey got behind the wheel in four different divisions: Pro Late Model, Outlaw, Pro Truck and Modified. He delivered impressive finishes and consistent performances across all four, recording numerous finishes in the top three and top five, including a runner up result.

The Pro Truck victory at Mobile provided a winning finish to the team’s schedule at the track and rewarded the work put in throughout the year.

Crew chief James Patrick played a key role in preparing the team’s equipment throughout the season. Spivey thanked Patrick, Jett, Brad, Brandon, Rudy and the entire crew for their hard work, support and belief in him. He considers everyone on the Jett Motorsports team family.

The team now turns its attention to Snowball Derby weekend, carrying the momentum of the Mobile victory into its next planned stop.

The Jett Concrete team and Spivey already have big plans for next season as they look to build on this year’s progress.

Spivey and his team also thanked the sponsors who helped make the season possible: Advantage Contracting, Spivey’s Heating & Air, McAllister Painting and Jett Concrete.
