A bout 20 minutes ago a gunman attempted to force himself into the Washington Hilton in Washington D.C. where President Trump and Vice President Vance was at.
The President and Vice President were rushed from the building.
The gunman is reported to have fired some shots. Unknown at this time if the gunman was struck.
This was a correspondent dinner. Reports are all in attendance are ok.

Some outlets have reported gunman dead and some reported gunman in custody. President Donald Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance were rushed out and reported to be safe.
As to the gunman, as normal, the Washington Media reports different stories so who do we believe.

RSN has allowed time for the information to be out that is accurate. From the news sources it appears the gunman was not shot and was taken into custody. The suspect was then transported to the hospital to be evaulated and then to jail. It appears all agencies are working together.
The suspect appears to have had a room at the hotel. There was a secret service agent shot but thanls to his bullet proof vest he is alive and well. for more information search the national news.
