ALABAMA – HOUSTON COUNTY: For the second consecutive week your GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES will be off for a paid holiday.
Last week was a three day work week for Houston County emmployees and this week will be a three day work week. The Hoouston County Commissioners will have you beleive they save money with four day work weeks.
The state employees normally work five days, and with the holiday will work four. But not Houston County employees, they will be closed Monday and Friday.
While Houston County Commission say they save money on a four day work week, it has never been proven. The public is suppose to listen to politicians and beleive it.
