SLOCOMB: Those of us traveling through Slocomb will soon encounter a new traffic pattern at the intersection of Alabama Highway 52 and County Road 73.
According to the city of Slocomb and the Alabama Department of Transportation, the intersection will temporarily become a three-way stop beginning Wednesday, Oct. 28.
The new traffic pattern is expected to be in place by the end of the day Wednesday as construction continues in the area.
Motorists are urged to use caution, watch for newly installed stop signs and allow extra travel time when traveling through the intersection.
