Law enforcement in Bay County, Florida, says two teens from Enterprise are now facing multiple charges tied to several vehicle break-ins at Panama City Beach.

According to the Bay County Sheriff’s Office, 18-year-old Brandon Fortner and 16-year-old Bryson Ankrom were captured on surveillance footage attempting to enter more than twenty vehicles across Pleasant Oak Court, Lagoon Oaks Drive, and Grand Oaks Lane on November 18.

Deputies say the pair stole cash, firearms, and a number of personal items — all from vehicles that had been left unlocked.

Investigators linked the suspects to Enterprise, Alabama, and believe they drove to Florida specifically to commit the crimes before quickly returning home.

Fortner was taken into custody shortly after the investigation began, while Ankrom later turned himself in to authorities.

Between the two of them, they are charged with 17 counts of burglary of a conveyance, 4 counts of armed burglary, and 4 counts of grand theft of a firearm.

The Bay County Sheriff’s Office credited assistance from several Wiregrass law enforcement partners in bringing the case together.
