DOTHAN: 6:00 PM. At about 6:00 PM Dothan 911 dispatched Dothan Police to a possible armed robbery. The location was on St. Peter Street.
St. Peter Street runs off Ross Clark Circle East near the Eastside Dothan Fire Station.
Dothan Police had the street blocked with multiple Dothan Police units and a brief stand off with suspect(s).
The stand off ended peacefully. Multiple persons were transported to Dothan Police Criminal Investigation Division where criminal investigators will try to peel back the layers as to actually what has happened.
Today has been a busy Memorial Day for Dothan Police Criminal Investigation Division and Patrol Division as they have responded to multiple calls. These calls have required extensive investigation.
