HOUSTON COUNTY:      On Monday night Houston County School Board Chairman Vince Wade read a proclamation from the Alabama Department of Education.

There are 67 County School districts across Alabama. The Houston County School System is 62 in funding statewide. But under the leadership of Houston County School Supt. Brandy White, and all involved in the Houston County School System is doing a great job.

And that great job is from the custodian, lunchroom worker, SRO’s, School Teachers, Counselors, Assistant Principals, Principals, Coaches and everyone in the system. And the support system in the Central Office.

STUDENTS are the number 1 priority. And the School Board and Superintendent keep the SUDENT EDICATION number 1, which is the number 1 priority throughout the system in the Houston County School System.

Also in the top 5 county school systems in Alabama, the wiregrass has the top 3:    Houston County, Geneva County and Dale County.

CONGRATULATIONS to school Superintendent and School Board Members that keeps the mission number 1.
