DOTHAN, Ala. – The City of Dothan Therapeutic Recreation program is spreading holiday cheer with the opening of the Missfit’s Christmas Shoppe, a festive pop-up shop featuring unique, handmade gifts created by local adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The shop will officially open on Thursday, November 19, from 4:00 PM–8:00 PM at the Doug Tew Therapeutic Recreation Center, 300 Garland Street, Dothan.

Shoppers will find a variety of one-of-a-kind holiday treasures, including handmade ornaments, wood crafts, pottery, freeze-dried candies, jar gifts, and much more!

The community is invited to shop November 19 through December 4 and support a meaningful cause. 100% of proceeds will go directly toward supporting Therapeutic Recreation programs, activities, and special events.
