ENTERPRISE: The City of Enterprise, Ala. offices will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2026, in observance of Veterans Day.
Those who normally receive garbage collection on Wednesdays should place their cans at the curb by 7 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10. Collection will take place as time permits on Tuesday and may continue Thursday, Nov. 12.
All garbage and debris should be placed at the curb by 7 a.m. on the scheduled collection day.
The self-service Recycling Convenience Station is also available for residents in the Public Works front parking lot at 529 Glover Avenue. The station is open for drop-off from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays.
The following uncontaminated (cleaned and rinsed) materials are accepted for recycling and must be separated:
• Cardboard (no waxy coating)
• Newspapers, magazines, junk mail and other paper
• Plastics labeled No. 1 and No. 2 (numbers are located inside the recycling symbol on the bottom of the product)
• Tin and aluminum cans
Items contaminated with food or liquid residue cannot be accepted. Glass and Styrofoam are not accepted.
