DOTHAN: 9:07 PM Dothan 911 dispatched multiple Dothan Fire Engine Companies, Pilcher Ambulance and Dothan Police to reports of a structure fire located at 505 S. Iroquois Avenue. This street runs off Fortner Street just west of Woodland.
At the time of dispatch the responding fire engine companies were advised flames from fuse box, resident refused to evacuate due to animals.
9:07 PM Call hits 911 and emergency units dispatched.
9:11 PM Fire Engine Company 10 ( West Main ) arrives on the scene. Reports a single story residential structure, no smoke or flames visible. Instructs all incoming fire engines go to Level 1 staging.
9:12 PM Truck 1 ( Central ) arrived on the scene. Fire Engine Company 2 ( Lakewood ) arrives on the scene. Battalion Chief Jack Woods arrives on the scene.
9:13 PM Fire Engine Company 1 ( Central ) arrives on the scene. Pilcher Ambulance arrives on the scene.
9:15 PM Battalion Chief Jack Woods has had a face to face with Engine 10, fire in electrical panel, attempting disconnect from outside. Dispatch Dothan Utilities. Rehab Truck ( Lakewood) on scene.
9:16 PM Primary search of inside, all clear, non one inside the residence. Interior crew asks for dry can and a fan at the front door.
9:20 PM Battalion Chief Jack Woods reports utilities disconnected from outside, still request Dothan Utilities respond. Scene under control, all fire engine companies, Rehab, Pilcher Ambulance can return to service. Dothan Fire Engine Company 10 ( West Main ) and Truck 1 ( Central ) can handle.
9:20 PM Fire Engine Companies begin to return to service.
9:23 PM Nothing to do with this call but 9:23 PM Dothan Fire Engine 9 ( Technology Drive ) off to an assault call on Maplecliff Drive. Suspect struck victim with a baseball bat.
