The U.S. Department of Defense has identified several American soldiers killed in a recent drone strike tied to escalating tensions involving Iran.
Military officials said the attack targeted a U.S. operations site in Kuwait. The strike occurred as hostilities between the United States and Iran continue to rise across the region.
The soldiers identified include:

Capt. Cody A. Khork, 35, of Winter Haven, Florida

Sgt. 1st Class Noah L. Tietjens, 42, of Bellevue, Nebraska

Sgt. 1st Class Nicole M. Amor, 39, of White Bear Lake, Minnesota

Sgt. Declan J. Coady, 20, of West Des Moines, Iowa
Officials said the service members were assigned to a logistics and sustainment unit responsible for transportation, equipment and supply coordination in support of military operations.
Defense officials confirmed additional service members were also killed in the strike, but their names have not yet been released as families are still being notified.
Military leaders described the fallen soldiers as dedicated service members who served their country with honor. Investigations into the attack remain ongoing as operations continue in the region.
