Granberry had legal access to the CAD computer system, which is owned by the City of Dothan – Houston County Communications District Board. A former Dothan Fireman, Jesse Taylor, was helping Dothan – Houston County Emergency Management with a program he had written when he was with Dothan Fire Department,. He was acting as a contract employee of which Houston County Commission Chairman Brandon Shoupe was aware of.
Granberry thought she was doing the right thing, because she was asked, and gave her password to enter the CAD system. The CAD system is not the state security systems to leak sensitive law enforcement data. It is the local, City of Dothan – Houston County Communications District Board system.
Different passwords are required to enter into the state security systems and national systems.
What Elliot plead to was subsection A, which was giving her password. And to say that Granberry and Taylor “the pair accessed and passed along restricted information from a state law enforcement database” is a lie. Elliot did not illegally breach any data. Her only crime was trust in allowing someone to use her password.

Ken Curtis put out a lot of fake news when this originally happened. And attempted to smear Rickey Stokes into this, which was a lie.
The plea was pre-trial diversion. If Granberry follows the terms of the pre-trial agreement the misdemanor offense will be dismissed, and the remaining 11 counts will be thrown out.
