Good afternoon,

A quick update on Invest 92L is provided below. Our next update will be tomorrow morning.

–Invest 92L has formed and a tropical depression will likely form in the next couple of days.

–The system will drift E/NE this week before turning northward this weekend.

–Models indicate the center of circulation will make landfall sometime between late Friday and during the day on Saturday.

–Rainfall amounts are forecast between 3-6 inches, with locally higher amounts possible.

WINDS

–Friday evening into early Saturday will feature sustained winds 10-20 mph and gusts to 25 mph.

–Saturday into early Sunday will feature sustained winds 15-20 mph and gusts up to 35 mph.

–A few tornadoes will be possible on the east side of the circulation.

What we do not know:

–There is not a defined center of circulation, so there is great uncertainty about the future intensity, extent track and impacts in Alabama.

–Expect changes to this forecast, especially concerning rainfall and winds!

–There is too much uncertainty to discuss other potential impacts. That should become more clear in the next two days.

Now is a great time to check your plans and kits and make sure you are prepared.

See the attached graphic for additional information. Any questions, give us a call.
