HOUSTON COUNTY: THANKS TO THE REGISTERED VOTERS OF THE CITY OF DOTHAN, NOT THE HOUSTON COUNTY VOTERS WHO LIVE OUTSIDE THE CITY LIMITS OF DOTHAN, a increase in sanitation fees will pass at 10 AM.
The re-elected, the defeated, and the one who did not seek re-election will vote in a price increase on sanitation fees. And if more than one can, some 2,800, will get an additional $ 10.00 per moth over the price increase.
Houston County Commission Chairman Brandon Shoupe returned to office only because of the registered voters within the city limits of Dothan, not because of the registered voters in the county, outside the city limits of Dothan.
BUT, registered voters in the city limits of Dothan, the $ 220,000.00 a year City Manager of Dothan, Randy Morris, is pushing for a sanitation fee increase for the residents of the City of Dothan. So your time is coming up. Dothan City Manager Randy Morris contract is up for renewal in September, so revenue has to increase in order for him to get more MONEY!!!!
( City Manager $ 220,000.00 a year plus. Alabama Governor $ 130,000.00 a year )
So Dothan residents, since you re-elected Brandon Shoupe, your time on increases are on the way !!!!
