DOTHAN: On Friday Dothan 911 received a call of shots fired in the area of South Range and Duke Street. This area is off East Selma Street in Dothan.
This was about 11:30 PM on Friday evening.
Dothan Police Patrol Division officers were quick on the scene. Very quickly a female was seen walking down the street firing a weapon into the air.
Dothan Police Patrol quickly encountered the female at gunpoint with lawful orders to drop her firearm. The female quickly followed the lawful commands, placed her weapon on the ground. Dothan Police Patrol were able to take custody and placed the female under arrest.
