Anna Mae Taylor Walker, known lovingly as Anna, passed away on April 5, 2026, in Dothan, Alabama, at the age of 87. Born on August 22, 1938, in Henry County, Alabama, Anna lived a life marked by love, generosity, and kindness. She was a woman whose presence brought comfort and strength to those around her, and she will be remembered for the warmth she shared so freely with family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Anna devoted much of her life to caring for her home and children, creating a foundation of love, stability, and devotion that shaped the lives of those closest to her. She was a faithful provider and a steady presence, always willing to help anyone she could. Her generous spirit was evident in the way she gave of herself without hesitation, often putting the needs of others before her own. Those who knew Anna best will remember her as loving, generous, and kind, a woman whose life reflected the values she held dear.

She found joy in the simple and meaningful moments that brought everyone together, including cooking out with family and celebrating the blessings of togetherness. Holidays held a special place in her heart, and she embraced them with excitement and joy. In fact, her love for celebrating was so well known that she even had her own “Mae Day” holiday in honor of herself, a reflection of the joy and personality she brought into the lives of those around her.

Anna also enjoyed being outside in her yard and tending to her garden. She found peace and satisfaction in caring for the spaces around her, and her love of nature was another expression of her gentle and nurturing spirit. Whether she was working in the yard, preparing a meal, or spending time with loved ones, Anna approached life with grace and a giving heart.

Her faith was an important part of her journey, and she served faithfully in her church and community. She was a member of Total Restoration Ministries, where she shared her time, presence, and devotion with others.
