
Ms. Annie Bell Morse, age 49, of Pansey, Alabama passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026, at UAB Medical Center. Ms. Morse succumbed to complications from her triple bypass surgery.
Annie was born on July 30, 1976, in Dothan, Alabama to Mr. Arthur Morse and the late Mrs. Cathy Smith Morse. She spent most of her years living in the Ashford and Rehobeth areas. Annie was a 1993 graduate of Rehobeth High School. She was known for her outgoing personality and her excellent work ethic. Her work experience included many areas, but her specialty was cooking. She was employed as a senior cook at Shoney’s incorporated in Dothan. Her last employment is where she was the happiest, as a fast order cook for Breeze Inn at several locations in Cowart’s and Rehobeth. In addition her job in the last few years, she experienced great joy with her grandchildren. Annie was a member of Big Creek United Methodist Church.
Annie is survived by her three children, JP Jarrard of Black, Alabama; Stormi Jackson (Justin) of Esto, Florida; and Victoria Sanders of Dothan, Alabama. Known as Granny Bell to her brother, Poncho Morse of Rehobeth, Alabama, and an uncle Perry Mack Smith of Rehobeth, Alabama and “Special Aunts” Virginia Singletary, Jackie Singletary, and Becky Lawrence of the Big Creek Community and a host of cousins and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Big Creek United Methodist Church, 8071 S. State Hwy 605 to honor Annie’s life. Family and friends are welcome to fellowship at the home of Virginia and Jackie Singletary, 7257 S. State Hwy 605 following the Celebration of Life.
