MIDLAND CITY. . .Arthur Brent Marshall, a resident of Midland City, passed away early Tuesday morning, September 2, 2025, in a Dothan hospital. He was 63.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, September 4, 2025, in the Sylvan Grove Methodist Church with Reverend Michael B. Proffitt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 P.M. Thursday in the church sanctuary. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.

Brent Marshall was a lifelong resident of Midland City. He was a 1980 graduate of Dale County High School and attended Auburn University. Brent was the owner and operator of Philip’s Parking Lot Maintenance for over twenty-three years. He was a member of Sylvan Grove Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Gene Marshall.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Kimberly Nauman Marshall; a daughter, Anna Marshall McLaney (Kade), Ashford; a son, Cody Marshall (Dominique), Midland City; and two step-sons, Derek Galloway and Dylan Galloway, both of Wicksburg; his mother, Barbara Register Marshall, Midland City; three brothers, David Marshall, Midland City; Bob Marshall (Robin), Auburn; and John Marshall (Betsy), Midland City; grandchildren, Brinleigh Marshall and Grayson Marshall; several nieces and nephews.
Serving as active pallbearers will be David Marshall, Bob Marshall, John Marshall, Cody Marshall, Jeff Warrick and Jeff Warrick, II.
