DOTHAN:   07:36 AM   Dothan  dispatched Dothan Police, Dothan Fire and Pilcher Ambulance on Reid Drive.

On arrival Dothan Police found subject deceased inside the residence.

There are a number of marked and unmarked Dothan Police Officers and Criminal Investigators on the scene.

There is no foul play indictated. The person is reported to have possibly died from a self inflicted injury. Dothan Police are working to determine the nature of the death. There are five categories in "nature or manner of death" with those being Natural, Accidental, Suicide, Homicide or other. All deaths require being worked as worst case - backwards. The reason is you can not re-create a scene so the first interaction with the scene has to be detailed with all facts being examined and documented.

Dothan Police Criminal Investigation Division is in charge of the death investigation. Houston County Coroner's Office is responding to the scene.
