1:30 PM... Headland Police in Pursuit of a Motor Vehicle

HEADLAND: Headland Police attempted to stop a vehicle on Solomon Street but the driver had other plans and took off. Police gave chase and the suspect wrecked out on King Street at the Cemetery.
Both black male suspects were detained. A search of the vehicle turned up two large bags of pot and a semi automatic pistol.
Headland Fire responded to check one of the suspects out but both were transported to the Headland Police Department.
