DOTHAN: WTVY is owned by a corporate entity in Atlanta, Georgia: Gray Communications, a large entity that also own WSFA in Montgomery.
When employed with a large corporation, you are not an "individual," only an employee identification number.
Without notification or advance warning, Gray Communications Corporate hopped on their jackass and rode into Dothan. They immediately terminated 9 employees.
RSN does not know who the 9 are. We do know the community will suffer irreparable damage.
The terminations were not because the 9 were bad at their jobs. In fact, they were good at their jobs. But when you are Corporate, you have zero concern for the individuals.
To those employees... we are sorry. You did not deserve this. I think it's very tacky that a large corporations thinks no more of your hard work and dedication to do this to you.
RSN cannot name them. We do not watch WTVY. We watch paint dry. It is more entertaining.
I guess WTVY will be watching RSN closer for news content!!!!
